After spending two weeks in Lausanne, we summarized our experience of our district of the city in a book. “Le Quartier du Flon” is a very lively shopping district in the city centre and gives the impression that there is nothing you cannot find there. I focused on all the needs people have and how this district meets them all within Maslow's “Pyramid of Needs”. The Pyramid includes physiological, safety, social, self-esteem and self-fulfillment needs, examples of which are each shown in their chapter, their respective step in the book.
